Session Members

As there were in the times of the Old Testament elders helped to govern the people, so the New Testament church provided persons with particular gifts to share in discernment of God’s Spirit and governance of God’s people.

The session is the group of elders, the servant leaders, who make decisions for the body of the church. Session members are elected to three-year terms by the congregation at the annual meeting. The work of the session is often carried out by the committees.
